2003-08-13 - 11:30 a.m. i never thought i'd be able to drive, but people have been helping me lately. kastoory told me, "when you get scared, just take your foot off the gas," and it's something i'd needed to hear for a while. like, duh. it's so simple, but it never would have occurred to me at all. i remember when i was a teen and actually had a learner's permit, and my parental units were attempting to teach me how to drive, i always wanted them to take me at night, like, i knew for a fact that i'd be able to drive at night, but they'd never take me then. sharon took me to bucks county pa yesterday at midnight and we drove around next to farms and gas stations and i only shrieked in terror two or three times. things are getting better.
